Baseball - 2025 - Spring 2025

The Pre-K league will play T-ball. The kindergarten league will play coach pitch with games at the High School. 1st and 2nd grade will be coach pitch as well. All other leagues will be player pitch.

$20 late fee (per player) will be charged for those who register after Jan. 13th.

Evaluations are only for 1st graders who did not play fall baseball in 2024 and those elementary age players (1st - 4th) who did not play MBA baseball last spring. Evaluations will be held on January 20th. Also, any 3rd grader who wants to pitch needs to attend evaluations. There are no evaluations for the K & Pre-K leagues. Evaluation times and field locations will be sent out at a later date.

Players will be notified of team assignments by the website or their coach around the end of January/first of February.

2/10 - Practices will begin for some teams. Pre-K & K may start a week later.
3/1 - Games will start for grades 1st - 6th. 5th & 6th could start earlier.
3/8 - First Pre-K & K games are tentatively scheduled.
3/20-3/30 - Off for Spring Break.

**Effective September 1, 1994** Programs sponsored by MBA will be offered to only Mountain Brook residents whose children are eligible to attend Mountain Brook schools.

Softball - 2025 - Spring 2025

1/29-1/31 - Team selections will begin to take place.
2/10 - Practices will begin this week. 
3/1-3/8 - Games may start for some leagues.
3/21 - 3/30 Off for Spring Break.
5/5-5/11 - End of season tournaments tentatively scheduled.

All players, coaches, and parents are expected to show good sportsmanship at all times. Players are also expected to attend and fully participate in all practices and games.

**Please register your child for the AGE that they were on Aug. 31, 2024.**

6U- K & some 1st

8U- 2nd-3rd

10U- 4th-5th

13U- 5th-7th

**Once teams have been selected, players WILL NOT be moved to another team. Please complete registration forms accordingly.

 
MBA softball teams will have 2-3 events (practices & games) per week.

Spartan Baseball Club - 2025 - Spring 2025

Spartan Baseball Club is open to all 7th & 8th graders. 

 The program will be led by Gavin & Judd Golsan. There will be at least 2 coaches per team. In addition to the Golsan's, former MBHS, college, & MILB players will serve as coaches as well.

Tentative schedule is to practice an average of 3 days per week. 6 local tournaments (most games, if not all at MBHS) with a longer distance travel tournament at the end.

All practices are scheduled to be held either at the MBHS facilities or Field #1. 

SBC is scheduled to run from late-Jan. through mid-late Apr. There will be an 8 day Throwing Instructional Camp (Run by the MBHS coaches) January 7th - 23rd prior to starting official practice that all player are encouraged to participate. 

MBA sign-up fee is $55. 3 jerseys & hats will be provided to players as well as a team -5 & -3 bats.

4 additional payments of $450 will be due at various times during the season (or you may make a one-time payment of $1,650 due at the time of registration). 

 Due dates for each payment:

1st payment - At time of registration - $450

2nd payment - Due Jan. 1st - $450

3rd payment - Due Feb. 1st - $450

4th payment - Due Mar. 1st - $450
