Baseball - 2026 - Spring 2026

The Pre-K league will play T-ball. The kindergarten league will play coach pitch with games at the High School. 1st and 2nd grade will be coach pitch as well. All other leagues will be player pitch.

$20 late fee (per player) will be charged for those who register after Jan. 12th.

Evaluations are only for 1st graders who did not play fall baseball in 2025 and those elementary age players (1st - 4th) who did not play MBA baseball last spring.  Also, any 3rd grader who wants to pitch needs to attend evaluations. There are no evaluations for the K & Pre-K leagues. Evaluation date, times, and field locations will be sent out at a later date.

Players will be notified of team assignments by the website or their coach around the end of January/first of February.

2/9 - Practices will begin for some teams. Pre-K & K may start a week later.
2/28 - Games will start for grades 1st - 4th.
3/7 - First Pre-K & K games are tentatively scheduled.
3/20-3/29 - Off for Spring Break.

Softball - 2026 - Spring 2026

1/28-1/30 - Team selections will begin to take place.
2/9 - Practices will begin this week. 
3/1-3/7 - Games may start for some leagues.
3/20 - 3/29 Off for Spring Break.

All players, coaches, and parents are expected to show good sportsmanship at all times. Players are also expected to attend and fully participate in all practices and games.

**Please register your child for the AGE that they were on Aug. 31, 2025.**

MBA softball teams will have 2-3 events (practices & games) per week.

Basketball - 2025 - Winter 2025

**All Elementary basketball leagues and JH Boys leagues are closed.**

Season will run from Nov. through the middle of Feb.  First practices will begin for elementary teams on or soon after Nov. 1.  First games for some teams may take place the week of Nov. 10.  Game T-shirt jerseys will be provided for all leagues.  Players will keep their jersey.  Players will need basketball shoes and shorts.

Player evaluations are only for those elementary age (3rd - 6th grade) players that did not play MBA last year and ALL 2nd grade boys and girls.  No evaluations for 1st graders.  Player evaluations to be held in the new Crestline gym.  Please see evaluation info in the "Basketball - Important Dates/info" section by selecting "Basketball" under Programs.

Wrestling - 2025 - Winter 2025

We are excited to announce that Coach Ricky Korn ("Coach Ricky") and the Elevate Wrestling Club will be leading this season's youth wrestling team.  Ricky has been part of the MB youth wrestling program for many years, and we're excited that he and his team will be back for another year.

Regular practices will be held at the MBHS wrestling room on Tuesday's and Thursday's from 5:30 to 6:30 PM.  As the season progresses, other advanced training opportunities will be available.

The first practice will be on Thursday October 30th.  If you are uncertain if your child will like wrestling, please bring them to a practice or two before registering.  To accommodate, we will leave registration open through early November.  

Season Duration: November through early February

Fee:  $200 per wrestler

Additional costs may include AYWO registration cards, tournament fees, singlets, shoes, and gear.

Spartan Baseball Club - 2026 - Spring 2026

Spartan Baseball Club is open to all 7th & 8th graders. 

 The program will be led by Gavin & Judd Golsan. There will be at least 2 coaches per team. In addition to the Golsan's, former MBHS, college, & MILB players will serve as coaches as well.

Tentative schedule is to practice an average of 3 days per week. 6 local tournaments (most games, if not all at MBHS) with a longer distance travel tournament at the end.

All practices are scheduled to be held either at the MBHS facilities or Field #1. 

SBC is scheduled to run from late-Jan. through mid-late Apr. There will be a pre-season throwing program (Run by the MBHS coaches) in January prior to starting official practice that all player are encouraged to participate. 

MBA sign-up fee is $55. 3 jerseys & hats will be provided to players as well as a team -5 & -3 bats.

4 additional payments of $475 will be due at various times during the season (or you may make a one-time payment of $1,750 due at the time of registration). 

 Due dates for each payment:

1st payment - At time of registration - $475

2nd payment - Due Jan. 1st - $475

3rd payment - Due Feb. 1st - $475

4th payment - Due Mar. 1st - $475
