Mountain Brook Youth Wrestling Winter 2026-27  Boys Grade K-6   

We are excited to announce that Coaches Andrew Scofield & Ryan Summerlin will be leading this season's youth wrestling team. Coach Scofield & Coach Summerlin are both asst. coaches with the MBHS & MBJH programs with past experience working at both the youth & club levels. 

Practice Days - MBHS wrestling room: 

2nd-6th Grade: Tue.'s & Thu.'s from 5:30-6:30 PM. As the season progresses, if you would like additional opportunities, other advanced training opportunities will be available. 

K-1st Grade: Wed.'s from 5:30-6:30 PM. As the season progresses, and at the coach's discretion, your wrestler may be able to attend additional (Tue./Thu.) practices. 

Competitions:  We will work to match up with local programs for match nights to compete in addition to our MB match night practices.  These will likely take place during the week on practice nights.  We will have a tournament schedule of select local tournaments that are on Saturday's (Dates TBD). 

First practice will be on Tue. Nov. 3rd. If you are uncertain if your child will like wrestling, please come try out some practices before registering. To accommodate, we will leave registration open through mid-Nov. 

Season Duration: Nov. through late Jan. 

Cost: 2nd-6th Grade - $200 per wrestler 

          K-1st Grade - $100 per wrestler 

Additional costs may include USA registration cards, tournament fees, singlets, shoes, & gear.

**Effective September 1, 1994** Programs sponsored by MBA will be offered only to Mtn. Brook residents whose children are eligible to attend Mtn. Brook schools.
