MBA - Baseball (Spring)
       Welcome to the Mountain Brook Athletics Baseball website. This website will continue to be used to provide baseball information to all of our teams and families, including posting league-wide messages, rules, rosters, team selection processes, calendars, and other valuable information for each age group. If you have not already done so, please submit your email address to MBA on its home page to be included in on its E-Mail Broadcast List to receive updates and announcements. During 2010, we had many successes including the following:        Congratulations to all of those teams! It is hoped that our baseball league and our affiliation with Metro Baseball will continue to grow as we continue to emphasize good sportsmanship, learning the fundamentals of the game, teamwork, and developing a love for America’s pastime, baseball.

       You will notice some MAJOR improvements at the Softball and Baseball Complex! Through the help and support of State officials, including Representative Greg Canfield, Representative Paul DeMarco, Senator Jabo Wagonner and Senator Steve French, our Mountain Brook City Council, Mnt. Brook Park and Recreation Department and numerous individuals and corporations in our community, the Athletic Complex now has four (4) new cages (each field now has its own cages), new netting for existing cages, new eight (8) foot fencing, new backstops and shade structures over the bleachers! We are still seeking contributions from our softball and baseball families to help pay for the improvements. Tax deductible donations can be made to Mountain Brook Athletics. Hopefully, with the help of our families and other community support, we can continue to improve our facilities.
